Memory Matters’ Connections Program serves people diagnosed with any form of dementia and who are exhibiting early symptoms of memory loss.
Our proactive program encourages strong cognitive stimulation, using cutting-edge digital and hands-on technology to improve visual, language, memory and spatial skills. The program also incorporates yoga and meditation to promote a sense of well-being.
Depression can interfere with memory, and socialization is a very important component to keep it at bay. Connections offers participants the opportunity to meet people who are experiencing similar feelings and want to achieve similar goals.
The program operates in our Day Center at 117 Wm. Hilton Parkway in Hilton Head. It costs $70 a day, which is typically five hours of activity, including a brain-healthy catered lunch. Scholarships are available for participants based on ability to pay. Contact us online now to inquire about signing up, or call us at (843) 842-6688.
